Watercolor in Philadelphia
One of my recent paintings was selected to be displayed in a major watercolor show from September 8 through October 11: the Philadelphia Water Color Society’s International Exhibition of Works on Paper. The show will hang in the Art Center in Wallingford, PA. Here is information about the Society and their exhibit: https://pwcs.wildapricot.org I have been a signature member of the Philadelphia Water Color Society for quite a number of years, and the organization is celebrating its 119th anniversary in 2019.
My painting is a view of the slot canyon at Kasha Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument in New Mexico, where my daughter and I hiked a while back. A site (and sight!) not to be missed! This painting is the second I have painted of a view within the canyon, the other being “Slot Canyon at Tent Rocks”, an image of which is available in the landscape gallery of my website. I suspect there will be more to come!
